Mathias Schlachter

Addiction Recovery Coach

Matt is originally from Chicago and brings a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and heart-centered service to his work. After earning a degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he began his career in design before transitioning into audio engineering and acoustics. Since moving to Nashville in 2011, Matt has built a successful career designing recording studios and consulting on acoustic environments across the country and internationally.

Over time, Matt felt a growing pull toward working more directly with people, particularly those navigating addiction and the path to recovery. With a personal passion for mental health and a deep belief in the power of healing relationships, Matt has expanded his work into mental health coaching. He brings calm presence, lived experience, and a strengths-based approach to helping others find clarity and purpose through life’s most difficult transitions.

Outside of work, Matt finds joy in writing and producing music, spending time outdoors, and sharing life with his wife, Jessi, and dog Lewis.!
