Anna Moise

Anna Moise began her career at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she majored in Psychology and Communications. Upon graduating, Anna moved back to Nashville to start graduate school and earned her Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling through Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. While in graduate school, Anna completed her practicum hours through the Martha O’Bryan Center, where she worked with 1st grade students at a local charter school. Anna completed her year-long internship at Daystar Counseling Ministries where she conducted individual counseling sessions with female clients ages 5-17 and co-facilitated group counseling sessions.

Anna has a passion for working with children, teens, parents and young adults. While she has experience working with various presenting concerns, she has unique skills in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, behavioral concerns and social skills. Anna believes that each client has unique needs and thereful practices from a client-centered approach while also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy techniques. Anna whole-heartedly values the relationships she forms with her clients, and firmly believes that trust and vulnerability in her counseling office are at the root of all healing.

In her free time, Anna enjoys trying new restaurants, cooking, going on walks with friends, and playing with her dog, Rosie.
