Daniel Lucas
MMFT
Daniel is a Nashville native who recently earned his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Prior to his graduate training, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Trevecca. Daniel has long been drawn to serving others and views the counseling space as a meaningful place where clients can build on their strengths while pursuing lasting growth and change.
During his undergraduate years, Daniel played collegiate baseball for four years, an experience that continues to shape his understanding of discipline, identity, and performance pressure. He is especially passionate about working with adolescent males and young men navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and major life transitions. He brings both empathy and practical insight to help clients move toward confidence and emotional health.
Daniel also works with couples and young adults, with a particular interest in premarital and marriage counseling. He enjoys helping couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and build deeper connection—whether they are preparing for marriage or working to restore and grow an existing relationship.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys being outdoors with his wife, Alex, hiking, and channeling his competitive spirit through golf, pickleball, and volleyball.
