Ashley Colclasure

M.Ed. Human Development Counseling

LPC-MHSP

Ashley Colclasure, Director of Rooted Counseling Center, began her career at The University of Georgia, where she attained a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. After graduation, Ashley moved to Nashville where she earned her Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University. Upon completion of her graduate degree, Ashley gained her therapeutic experience from both non-profit and school-based counseling settings. In 2010, Ashley opened Rooted Counseling Center, having noticed a need for a private practice group in Nashville.

While Ashley has experience working with various populations, she is gifted in counseling women who experience anxiety and depression. Sometimes the anxiety or depression has been a longtime struggle for her clients, while other times it is triggered by life transitions, such as college, marriage, birth, or divorce. Working with women experiencing difficulty adjusting to life transitions of any kind is also one of Ashley’s passions.

In addition to her work with her clients, Ashley is an approved clinical supervisor in the state of Tennessee, and she finds great joy teaching and supervising fellow counselors in their work with their respective clients.

Ashley is married to Ethan, and together they have three young daughters.

Ashley is not accepting new clients at this time
